We do not pull credit first and figure out the file later. A Catalyst pre-approval is built to protect — and often raise — the score underwriting will use. That higher mid-score is how you get a better interest rate and a loan that costs less at closing and over the term.
Before a hard inquiry hits your file, we review utilization, recent inquiries, collections, and mixed tradelines, then give you a punch list: what to pay down, what not to open, and when to apply.
